We actually have a manual on how to raise our family successfully. It's called the Bible. Sometimes we read the Bible and we don’t see much on child raising so we look elsewhere. It is obvious that God knows a lot more about how to raise children; but, why did He make it so hard to find the answers? The answers are really much easier to find than we realize. However, we have to stop looking at the Bible like it is a book written by humans. Let’s take a look at child raising from God’s perspective. He doesn’t want us to change methods every time we change people or situations. God wants to build a foundation of people skills in us that works in most situations with most people. If we use one kind of system for our adult life and another with training our kids, we are going to be setting an example that our children can’t follow.

We are going to be looking at the same Scriptures that we would be looking at in any relationship; but, we are going to be looking at them from a child-raising point of view. Our examples and subjects will be exclusive to child raising. However, the Scriptures won’t. Two wonderful things will happen. We will understand how to raise a biblical family and we will learn to study our Bible from a God-perspective. Our success in family raising will grow to a wonderful level and our ability to learn how to use the Bible will grow as well. This is going to make your spiritual growth and your life’s successes a lot easier. You will stop looking for Scriptures on unique subjects and start seeing that biblical principles are all beneficial for every aspect of life. The reason the Christian life and the study of the Bible are so effective is because God made it so simple. Rather than making us learn thousands of principles for every issue of life, He is going to build a foundation in us that works in all areas of life.
