God’s Desires
Because God loves us more than we even love ourselves, sees our future, knows everything, has the power to do anything, and has a perfect plan for us, He is trying to get us to accept His plan. He is spending a major amount of time talking to us trying to help us see His character, His attitudes, and His power. He is not sparing anything He has so as to make it clear to us that He loves us and wants the very best for us. He is using His incredible knowledge, understanding, and wisdom to help us accept Him and all He has to offer us. Our Free Will
God has made us into humans, which means we are free to choose our destiny; we are also free to choose our path to that destiny. Our problem is, we lack the knowledge, understanding, and wisdom to understand all the facts concerning the various life’s paths; and, we don’t know, understand, or see the implications of our choice of destinies. We are free to believe a lie is true; but, most of the time we lack the ability to analyze the facts so as to be able to tell the difference between a lie and the truth.

Our Permission
Our relatioship with God has to be a permission based relationship. This isn’t something we have a choice on; God requires it. The reason God spends so much time in the Bible and in His communication with you trying to convince you that what He says is true, is because He is honoring your free will. The reason you have to pray and ask God for certain things is because you have to get His permission before you can get it from Him. He has a free will; He has given you a free will; and He always honors your free will. God’s Work Through Us
There are people all over this world that want God and all He has to offer. However, God has given us the assignment of taking His good news to all of these desireous people. There are people who don’t know about God and His good news; but, they would accept Him if someone would come and tell them about Him and His good news. Many times our free will interferes with other’s free will. It is during these times that God waits patiently on us trying to convince us of the right things to do. But, if we keep refusing to respond, He gives our opportunities to someone else. |
