Attitudes aren’t the blessing of God they are the doors to them. The italicized words here express this. Attitudes decide whether or not you will be receptive to Jesus’ awesome principles. Jesus uses these Scriptures to help you be open in you heart and mind to His teachings. These attitudes give you the desire to pursue them with an intensity. These attitudes help your heart and mind yield to all Jesus has to offer. They help you desire to start getting all of it. As you grow in these power-attitudes of Jesus, they make you capable of learning how to treat yourself and others better.

Jesus, helps you become a person who wants to surround yourself with a lot of friends. You get the potential of gaining business associates, a successful marriage relationship, great family relationships, career success, and all kinds of beneficial results. Because of Jesus’ power-attitudes, you become receptive to being able to approach life with determination and commitment. They make it possible for you to head in directions that you know are good for you and those around you.

The list of items found in these verses are called the Beatitudes. These Beatitude items empower you to have an open and honest relationship with Jesus. Without them, the doors to your heart and mind will be closed. He won’t be able to share His knowledge, foreknowledge of the future, understanding, wisdom, power, and love with you. These Scriptures aren’t the principles of success in life; they are the doors that allow you to enter into success in life principles.
