Just like human faith isn’t enough, human love isn’t enough to make a difference for you or those around you. As you grow in Jesus, you need a lot more power than your human love can generate. You and the people around you need a love with incredible abilities you won’t find in humans. Your human love even fails you! It often lets you down at some of the most important moments in your life. Jesus wants to teach you how to yield to God’s love.

When you are down, facing difficult situations, or are needing to feel loved, you and your friends can’t support you with genuine love. The love you and the people around have is too pliable, temperamental, and weak to help you. So, God gives you His love so you are able to do what it takes to really win at life. The Bible says in Romans 5:5b God has poured out HIS love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, Whom He has given us. That is a power-love that will help you treat yourself and the people around you with procedures that are incredible.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8a explains what God’s love looks like. With it, you will love better than most people expect. When they experience superior treatment from you, it sets you apart from most other companies, relationships, and transactions. People will trust you, enjoy your company, and want to join you in your endeavors. Jesus uses the Scriptures in this book to tell you how to yield to this love so you can love your neighbor with the same love you use to love yourself. That builds powerful relationships.
