John 12:24-26 (NIV) I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever SERVES Me must follow Me; and where I am, My SERVANT also will be. My Father will honor the one who SERVES Me.

We didn’t die so as to stay dead. And, we didn’t die so as to raise back to a life of sin. Nor, did we die so as to raise to a nonproductive life. “If it dies, if produces many seeds.” You are going to love all of the wonderful benefits of life and ministry through walking with the Holy Spirit in the life and ministry of Jesus. Your life will continue to become more wonderful and victorious as the days go by. But, your new life in Christ Jesus will consist of doing or ministering wonderful things to and for needy people.

You will find yourself clothing the naked, feeding the hungry, visiting the imprisoned, and sharing all your victories with everyone (Matthew 25:31-46). You won’t be wrapping it all up in a napkin and burying it until Jesus comes back (Luke 19:20-24). Ministry consists of DOING Godly things, righteous things, loving things to yourself and those you associate with.

This change in your behavior will heal those around you and inspire you to reach out to their needs. Your ministry will grow into a mature ministry where Jesus will give you one of His special ministerial gifts, the Holy Spirit will equip you will some of His power gifts, and your heavenly Father will guide you to all the places where He wants you doing the ministry of Jesus (1 Corinthians 12:4-6).
