Eyes Looking In The Right Direction - Continued: Eyes On The Kingdom Brings More Revelation
2 Cor 12:2-4 (NIV) I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know--God knows. And I know that this man--whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows--was caught up to paradise. He heard inexpressible things, things that man is not permitted to tell.
Do you think an experience like that would affect your Christian efforts and ministry? Me too! The reason the Holy Spirit is revealing so much to us now is so we can use them to inspire us to be willing to put all we have into the effort. |
John 15:15 (NIV) I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from My Father I have made known to you. Servants aren’t allowed to get in on the big picture. They are told what to do. But, they don’t know why until the project is complete. God is letting us see the finished product in advance. True it is only a glimpse. It is, however, enough to get us excited about God’s work. We just have to ask God to help us keep our eyes fixed on the Kingdom of God (the spirit realm). The worldwide Christian movement loses its momentum when we lose our spiritual perspective.
