Mat 6:9 Hallowed be Your Name.

This is true. However, is it true to the person praying it? Sure, God’s name is hallowed. We all know that; we know that as a religious fact; but, do we feel that in our heart? Do we have that truth in our life? His name only becomes “hallowed” to us if we have allowed the Holy Spirit to reveal the intimacy of the family relationship.

As one of His children, we look up into His face and we see His holiness. He is sinless; He is pure; and He is totally righteous. He is our Father; we are His child; and He is God. He has so much to offer us. We have so much that we need from Him.

How much do we want to have His character? He is worthy to be God. We are not worthy to be His children, yet we are. How did we get here? By the grace of God through the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Hallowed be Your Name!
