We must not want people seeing us. We must want them seeing God. We want people to be able to look through our lives and see the work of God. When people see great works of God flowing through our lives, we want them to glorify God, not us. We all know we can’t really help needy people. Their needs are much to great for our help to be of any value. We all know it is going to take the miraculous power of God to help them with their incredible needs. How is that going to happen? Transparency!

The words I say to you are not just My own. Rather, it is the Father, living in Me, Who is doing His work.

Only meekness is going to make this kind of relationship possible. We hear, learn, and the Holy Spirit adds the words of Jesus to our lives and ministries. From that point on the words we say are not our own. Rather, it is Jesus living in us, Who is doing His work through us. That will bless everyone involved. That will bring great glory to God.
