John 16:13-15 (NIV) But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to Me by taking from what is Mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is Mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is Mine and make it known to you.

This is how we learn to live life by the Spirit. The Spirit will establish a connection to our spirit that will introduce a close and intimate relationship with Jesus and the Father. We will learn to accept Their way of thinking and living. Our will must allow this. But if it does, we will become rich in faith and trust in God.

James 2:5 (NIV) Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom He promised those who love Him?

Gal 5:16 (NIV) So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

As we are going through this exposure to Jesus, the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to vital aspects of Who Jesus is, what He does, and how He wants to make it all a part of you and your ministry. Nothing said in these studies will make any sense to you without the Holy Spirit taking it and explaining it to you. You and we will be saying a lot of things to people; but, we really aren’t teaching them anything. If the Holy Spirit doesn’t take those words and make them real to those we are ministering to, our words will fail to have any effect on them.
