We have unsaved people clothing the naked, medicating the sick, working with prisoners, providing for the homeless, feeding the hungry, and taking care of their physical needs. Then we have Christians taking care of salvation, doing Bible studies, leading people in Christian songs and worship, praying for spiritual needs, and taking care of spiritual issues.

Jesus is going to give us a final exam on the judgment day. It is going to be the test we just read about in Matthew 25:31-46 above.

“He will” is repeated five times and implied three more times. This means that this IS going to happen. He will do and say these things.

Since our preparation for eternity is provided with an “open Book test,” we can know exactly what we are going to be tested on. God doesn’t want us leaving people’s physical needs up to the unsaved. He doesn’t want people’s physical needs separated from their spiritual needs. He wants to take care of both of them at the same time.
