All sex that is performed outside marriage is a sin. Fornication is a sex relationship that is prior to marriage. Adultery is a extra sexual relationship in addition to the one you are married to. Sex with someone of the same gender is homosexuality. All of these sexual relationships are sins. These are acts that Jesus is very desirous to set you free from. You can count on Him being ready to lead you into those truths that set you free. He wants you to be healed so you can have a very rewarding and relationship building sexual relationship with your spouse.

Another big issue has to do with why inappropriate sex is something you feel you need to do. There can be emotional issues, relationship problems, and other stressing things that cause you to feel like you have to self-medicate. Jesus will help you see if there is some kind of damage or hurt that is driving you toward inappropriate sex. He will be able to go into the areas of your heart that no one can access. He will help you be set free from those things that are setting you up for failure.

Once you open the door to something like inappropriate sex, you have exposed your body to extreme pleasure. The moment your body experiences extreme pleasure, it wants it on a constant basis. It will try to drive you away from those things that only provide you and it with mild pleasures. This can take your life away from you; you can find yourself neglecting things that are normal requirements of life. It can also change you reasons for why you do what you do. Most everything you do can be setting you up for your next time of extreme pleasure.
