Rather than each person representing themselves, they start working on what is best for the whole. Jesus helps you and your friends see that you are a team; He uses the power of His love to help you want to do what is best for the relationship. Once a friends truly becomes a team, they give up selfishness, self-interests, and self-centeredness. They care each other so much that they want to make each other happy.
