When you want something, that sets a whole lot of life-activities in motion. Even if it is just a matter of you only being able to dream about it, it can occupy a lot of mental processing time. When you believe you can figure out a way to get it, you can start setting goals, making plans, and taking various actions. The big issue is, is that thing you desire good for you? Even if you believe with all your heart that it is, no doubt there have been other times when you thought that and were wrong.

Jesus loves you more than you love yourself. He has all knowledge, foreknowledge of the future, understanding, and wisdom. He knows everything! He can help you find out whether or not something is good for you before you get involved with it. Before you buy something, marry someone, hire someone, take a job, train for a career, or go somewhere, Jesus will help you find out if it is a good idea. He will help you save time, embarrassment, pain, disappointment, failure, and a whole lot of other things.

If your desires have been taking you in random directions, dead-end streets, dissappointing places, and confusing results, Jesus will show you how to establish a relationship with Him that will help you solve all these issues. He can help you get desires that will help you head in directions that will not only help you be successful in human life, you will win in eternity too.
