If we are impressed with the world’s “experts,” we will listen to them over the Bible. If we see how much wiser and knowledgeable God is, we will be willing to tune the world out. We will seek information where we feel we can get the best answer. If our heart is drawn to world opinion, then we have trained it to believe the world has the best answer. If we keep exposing it to God and His Word, our heart will start respecting the Bible over world opinion. The world’s opinions are not only wrong, they are foolish. The world’s “experts” are not only misinformed, they are fools. If we fill our heart with their information about the meaning to life, we fill it with information from fools.

We, of course, aren’t talking about math, English, chemistry, or various parts of biology. These are human discoveries of things God created. Man isn’t creating these things they are just discovering what is already there.

We are talking about man’s interpretation of these things. When the world decides that all these things they are discovering came by accident, that is where they become fools. When they look at all these things and develop a philosophy that excludes God, that is information from fools. When they try to change God’s moral order and we follow their sinful patterns, that is foolish. Anything that governs how we treat ourselves, others, and God has to be in line with the Bible. Anything that disagrees with the Bible on these points will turn the individual into a fool.

Pray to Jesus and ask Him to help you look to the Bible for your guidance for life. Ask Him to help you let Him tell you what is right and wrong. Let Him set the rules for how you treat yourself, other people, and Him. Yield to the Bible’s information on how we got here, why we are here, how to live your life while you are here, and what is going to happen next.
