The reason we know, we know Jesus’ voice tone is because He always speaks according to what the Bible says and He will always sound like forgiveness, patience, peace, love, hope, faith, and healing. When He speaks to us, we will feel feelings of forgiveness that are saying we are COMPLETELY forgiven of ALL our past, present, and future sins. As Jesus’ voice talks to us by giving us ideas in our mind, we will feel His patience and longsuffering with us. We will KNOW He will never give up on us. Even if Jesus is correcting us concerning some breach of Biblical truth, we will still feel peace between us and Him. We will feel His love in His voice tone or it isn’t Jesus talking to us. If we feel hopelessness, while we are hearing words of hope, then the words of hope are Jesus and the feelings of hopelessness are words from Satan.

We can ALWAYS tell the difference. When Jesus speaks, it strengthens and stabilizes our faith. When we feel feelings of doubt, it isn’t Jesus talking to us. Jesus speaks words that bring healing into our heart and life. If we feel there is no hope of us ever being healed, those feelings aren’t from Jesus and we don’t have to give in or listen to them.

Ask God to help you look for ALL seven characteristics in the thoughts and feelings of your heart. Pray that He will help you run from any thoughts, feelings, words from others, or deeds done against you that don’t have all seven characteristics that indicate these truths to you. Believe, as you pray to Jesus, that He will help you recognize and be able to react to all thoughts, feelings, words, and deeds that come your way. Believe your reactions of acceptance or rejection will be based on the presence or absence of these seven voice tones.
