Questions posed to God and His word help you read and study your Bible. If you are looking for an answer to an issue in your life, then you have a purpose for exposing yourself to God’s word. Asking your heavenly Father a question and then looking for the answer in His word will bring the Bible alive for you. Your knowledge of truth will expand until you come across the truth that deals specifically with the issue you are facing. If you don’t find the truth that deals with your specific problem right away, then be patient. Don’t give up on God and His word. Keep reading and studying and you WILL find the answer to your specific problems.

The next issue is to look for the right method for God meeting your needs and answering your questions. Don’t approach the Bible like it is a book written by the world. The Bible deals with the spiritual answers that are CAUSING your physical problems.

You need to ask God what spiritual problem in your life is causing you to experience problems with your emotions, finances, relationships, and physical body. There is always a problem in the spirit realm that is producing these natural difficulties. Your life on this earth is directly effected by spiritual breakdowns and missing truths that you need. Once you find out what the Bible says is missing in your Biblical knowledge, you pray and get the Holy Spirit’s explanation of that Scripture, and you ask Jesus to put that truth into your life. That is when things start to change in the physical, earthly realm of your life.

Ask Jesus to lead you into the reading and studying of His word. Pray for the questions you need to ask as you read and study. Ask for His help in knowing which spiritual truth you need so you can get your emotional, financial, relational, and bodily needs met. Let Him know you want to change in any area of your spiritual life so you can get your natural needs met.
