Sometimes the challenges of life seem to only provide you with certain options. It looks like your options have been narrowed down to one or two choices. However, God is wiser than Satan and all the circumstances of life. He can come up with solutions that aren’t obvious to you. When you only see a couple of possibilities, you can come to God and ask Him “which one” should you choose of the two choices you see.

Giving God your limited set of choices presupposes that they are the only choices. But, if you come to God with an open heart, you are allowing Him to be God in your life. Prayers where you give God a choice of options will limit the kind of miracle God wants to give you. You need to let God show you all the options. He can see a lot more than you can. But, God will respect your God-given free will. He will either choose one of your options or He will reject both of them without offering any further help.

Who would have thought to look to someone like David? He probably would have been the last person king Saul would have picked for this challenge. That is the way a lot of God’s solutions are. If you don’t pray and get God’s guidance on the issues you face, the solution of God can escape you. Young David has skills, talents, training, and experiences that WERE NOT obvious to those who were evaluating him. When you look at your circumstances, that is the same situation. God can turn them into miracles.

Ask Jesus to help you not allow your options to be narrowed down. Pray that He will help you see the solution He wants to provide you. Ask Him to help you not become impressed with the size of the problem. Let Him show you how big He is and how powerful His solutions are. Ask Him to help you never forget that He is unlimited in what He can do. Ask Him to help you allow Him to be God in your life.
