God sees and judges things differently than you do. He considers certain things important that you may not see as being important. Because of your exposure to those things that can be seen, it causes you to evaluate life on the basis of what you see. However, your time here on earth and your eternal life will be greatly effected by the things God considers important. Even though they may be issues that you can’t see, they are things God sees.

Here is something that God sees as being a very important principle: Eternity will provide special advantages to those who spend more time with God, now. Plus, those who spend more time with God now, have a much better life now. Because you are allowing the things of God to pour into your life you are getting the best of both worlds. And, the reason you are doing that is because you have allowed what God sees to influence you. Even though these things are things you don’t fully understand, you trusted God and yielded to Him.

Your present life and your future life are all being blessed by the God you are seeking. He shows His approval concerning your pursuit of Him by blessing you spiritually, physically, financially, relationally, and emotionally. When you have a struggle in one or more of these areas, as you turn to God, He sees it as you trusting Him. He responds to you in a greater way because you are demonstrating your faith in and love for Him. The special miracles and blessings that are coming your way are God’s response to you.

Let Jesus know how much you appreciate this opportunity to spend time with Him. Tell Him how much you are enjoying His company and His fellowship. Praise Him for His blessings here and in eternity. Thank Him for giving you the eternal perspective. Ask Him to increase it so you will be able to evaluate life from God’s view point. Ask Him to help you learn how to better do things on earth that have value in eternity.
