It is a matter of time. How much time do you want it to take to reach your goals? There are things you want to do so as to make your life better. You have things you feel you have to accomplish before you will be able to do some of the things you want to do. If Jesus were to come to you today and ask you to follow Him, would that be an option? Or, is your life so tied up with the “necessities” of life that you would have to ask Him to come back later?

There are things in your life that you don’t want to do. You just do them because you have to. You think they are just “necessary evils.” A lot of the things you are involved in felt like they weren’t giving you any choice in the matter. Job “opportunties,” financial responsibilities, people who will accept you and people who won’t, and various circumstances have pushed you into this life. Everyone else is living out their life like you are. So, you assume that is the way it has to be. It isn’t until you start seeing what God is capable of that you start understanding that the “rat race” isn’t for Christians.

God wants you to have time for your family. He wants you to have time for people. If you start seeking first His Kingdom and His righteousness, He will add all of those THINGS you need and want at a much faster and easier rate. He will give you TIME to start living life the way Jesus wants you to. However, you can’t just start living your life the right way instantly. You are “tied up” with all kinds of THINGS that you can’t just quit, change, or replace. Jesus will have to start working you miracles that take you into His plan.

You are going to need some SPECIAL miracles of God before you can detach yourself from your old path. You are going to have to start getting Jesus’ supernatural opportunities before you can make the trades. But, if you ask Him, Jesus can start heading you in the right direction. Ask Him to open your heart to the training of the Holy Spirit so you can learn how to seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness. Ask God to empower you and train you on how to start living according to His system of life.
