If you will allow the dream Jesus has given you to influence your attitudes, you will be able to be healed from past damage. If you realize that once you became a Christian, God took all your past and current circumstances and changed them into something new.

He now is restructuring all those bad experiences into training for your future. He will be using ALL of it to help you be ready to succeed, as He leads you into your next training exercise. It is all about attitude; if you are still upset about God allowing you to go through all those things, then you won’t be ready for your next assignment. If you can see that God has set you free from the bad effects of your past, and if you can see He has turned them into skills, training, talents, abilities, and accomplishments, then you will have a great attitude and faith for your future with Him.

Everything from salvation on is preparing you for the fulfillment of the dream God has for you. God has used salvation to help you have faith concerning your past and He is taking advantage of your salvation to direct you into your future. Your past training experiences will be used to empower you to help a lot of hurting people.

Pray to Jesus and ask Him to help you see how many things salvation has done for you. Thank Him for being willing to leave the awesome things of heaven and come down to earth to suffer and die for you. Thank Him for being such a loving and generous God, Who is willing to make all His provisions available to you. Yield to the Holy Spirit’s teaching as He shows you how great and wonderful salvation is.
