Getting A Special Gift Of Grace
We all know we can’t help certain people. We could help some people but don’t want to. Money, time, abilities, and location can have a big effect on whether or not we help various hurting people. But, God can do it all. Self-confidence so limits who we can help that it cuts off too many people. God calls self-confidence, pride. God opposes self-confidence because it fills us with a dependency on something that leaves most people with no help. Even when we do TRY to help, our help usually only lasts for a short time and helps in an area where it doesn’t heal them. God calls God-confidence, humility. God gives you things you don’t deserve, when you have God-confidence. This moves us from getting opposition from God to getting special gifts from God. Why?

The world of the self-confident, self-esteem, prideful person brings selfish, self-centeredness. The world of the God-centered person brings compassion and care to hurting people. God is not only against selfishness, He resists those people who insist on maintaining it.
Only the person with God-esteem, God confidence, and humility will be able to reach out to the needy and provide them with God’s love and power. God’s character and provisions are the only hope mankind has. If we are willing to allow Him to flow in and through our lives, He will bless us beyond anything we deserve. Those who experience and share God are living in the will and purpose of God. They not only start winning at life themselves. They are empowered by God to help others start winning at life.

Ask Jesus to deliver you from self-confidence, self-esteem, selfishness, and pride. Pray for His approval on your life. Ask Him to enable you to look to Him for all your confidence, esteem, assurance, faith, and humility. Let Him turn you into a person of compassion and care. Yield to God’s character so you can offer God and the things of God to those who are willing to receive His help.
