Recommendation:
Luke Chapters 1 And 2

Having Faith That Gets Results
The more we grow in spiritual growth and the more we get involved in a close relationship with our heavenly Father, the more our faith starts to work properly. Instead of having faith in ourselves, stores, jobs, professionals, experts, reserves, and technology, we start to realize that NOTHING works without God allowing and causing it to work. We begin to see Him as the creator of the universe Who is holding it all together. All those things we consider tangible, “real” substances that we can touch, taste, see, hear, and smell, only exist for as long as our God holds them together. We and all the things around us were made by Him and only exist for His purpose. We aren’t living in a world or a universe that is out of control. We are surrounded by God-created and God-controlled things. We may not like some of the things He ALLOWS to happen, but He is God, Lord, and King over it all.

If there is anyone, anywhere that can change or shape bodies, circumstances, problems, substances, and financial issues, it is God.
Jesus has all authority in heaven AND on earth. There is no one bigger, more powerful, with more authority, or compassion than your God. Anywhere else we look for help is a step-down from faith in God. It is true we can sometimes get things quicker, with less struggle from other sources. But, it is also true we typically get things from these sources that enslave us. Those things we get with money, that God didn’t want us having, will hurt us. If we ONLY have faith in God, then we will ONLY accept those things that come through God. Faith in God means doing without those things we may want or think we need, if God won’t give us permission to obtain them or provide them directly to us.

Praise God for all those things you prayed for that came to you immediately. Now, praise God for all those things that took a while before they came to you from God. Finally, praise God for all those things that never came to you through God. All three of these possible answers to prayer were true, loving, and protective blessings from your heavenly Father.
